The DMMA’s Proposed Amendment to the CC&R’s includes a 30 Day Minimum stay for guests wishing to visit Desert Mountain that do not fit into one of the below groups:

Property Owners
If other guests wish to come to explore real estate opportunities in Desert Mountain for less than 30 days, there is no mechanism do so. If other guests wish to come to participate in a trial of club facilities to assess potential membership, there is also no mechanism to do so. These are two glaringly obvious opportunities that the DMMA is ignoring, providing feeder groups to Desert Mountain which contribute to the future viability of this community.
The proposed amendment also includes a minimum home exchange period of 7 days. Home exchanges, relatively unmentioned by the DMMA and included in this provision, are simply vacation property exchanges. Home Owners will be allowed to exchange for 7 days or more, as many times per year as they elect, simply allowing Desert Mountain to be used for the express purpose of a Resort.
